Ascochyta 2009

The Ascochyta workshop be held on the campus of Washington State University from 28 June to 2 July 2009.
The workshop will build on the highly successful workshop held at Le Tronchet, France in 2006. The workshop
will review and discuss current developments in the area of Ascochyta blight of the cool season food
legumes (peas, lentils, chickpeas, faba beans and lupins). Epidemiology of the Ascochyta blight pathogen,
genetics of resistance, germplasm resources and integrated control of the disease will be highlights of
the workshop program. Invited presentations will be supplemented by contributed oral and poster presentations.
An international group of researchers is expected to participate.
