Noncredit Distance Education Course


This computer-based, noncredit, distance education course is designed for non-native speakers of English who wish to modify their accents when speaking English.
The course is also appropriate for native speakers of English who wish to modify regional accents.
Professionals, scientists, men and women in business, and anyone whose major responsibility is to communicate with other people, will find this course especially helpful in improving oral fluency and speech intelligibility.

Cancellation Policy
  • If student has registered, purchased Speech Works, and not submitted a speech sample disk for feedback there will be a $50.00 processing fee with no refund on software.
  • If student has registered, accessed the Learning Center copy of the software, and not submitted a speech sample disk there will be a $50.00 processing fee.
  • If student has registered and submitted a speech sample disk for evaluation and feedback there will be no refund of tuition fees.
Important Note to Students

Students are encouraged to take full advantage of the evaluation and feedback process in order to receive the maximum amount of benefit from the course. A minimum of one hour a day of practice is recommended to accomplish the greatest results.
