Scholarship Information
All scholarships have been awarded.
The Washington Department of Ecology is sponsoring the 2008 Brownfields and Land Revitalization Conference Scholarship Program. They are pleased to offer scholarships to Washington residents that wish to attend the 2008 Brownfields and Land Revitalization Conference. The scholarship program was developed to help offset the cost for Washington non-profits, local governments, Tribes, and students who want to increase their knowledge of the brownfields redevelopment process by attending the Conference.
Scholarship Includes:
- Attendance Fee Waiver
- Lodging for the evenings of October 20th and October 21st
Scholarship Eligibility:
- WA residents only
- Employee of a Non-profit, Government, Tribe, Academic Institution or Enrolled Student
- Must be involved in brownfields redevelopment efforts in Washington communities
- Federal and State Employees are not eligible
- Limited to 1 award per local government, academic institution, or tribe
- Limited to the first 25 applicants

In one paragraph (100 words or less) explain why you qualify for scholarship assistance.
Register for the Conference as a "Scholarship Recipient". If a scholarship is not awarded, you will be notified to register as a regular attendee.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified via email within 2 weeks of application submission.
Forms will be accepted until 25 applicants are awarded, whichever occurs first. If 25 applicants are awarded, the conference website will be updated to indicate this information.
The scholarship does not include registration for the boat tour on Day 2 of the conference. If you are interested in the boat tour, please register for it separately on the conference website.
