Volunteer Management Certificate Program
Advanced Program

 Courses Overview

The Advanced Volunteer Management Certificate Program (VMCP—Advanced) consists of four courses that expand and enhance the basic skills addressed in the basic MCP courses. Each course is delivered in the online Blackboard learning environment and is described below.

To enroll in the advanced courses, participants must have earned the Basic Volunteer Management Certificate (VMCP) or enroll in the Volunteer Management Portfolio Course.

Participants who successfully complete the full program of all four advanced courses will receive a certificate of completion from Washington State University’s Center for Distance and Profession Education.

Professionals who want to enhance their knowledge of volunteer management but do not want to complete the certificate program may enroll in single courses.

  • You have the flexibility to take the four VMCP courses in any order.
