NW Biosolids Management Conference

September 7, 2008–September 9, 2008
Skamania Lodge, Stevenson WA

The theme of the conference, Biosolids Pride and Prejudice, highlights the pride we have in the vital work we do (treating wastewater and recycling treated resources back into the water and soil) and the prejudice we sometimes face with respect to public perception.

In keeping with the theme of the conference, an exciting line-up of speakers has been developed. They will bring us relevant information on current issues surrounding biosolids management, the latest developments in national and local biosolids research and opportunities for synergies with biosolids and organics recycling.

The Northwest Biosolids Mangement Association is pleased to present the 2008 conference in partnership with BioCycle, the journal of composting, organics recycling and renewable energy. In recognition of that partnership and colleagues who manage not only biosolids but other residual materials, the second day of the conference will focus on "Going Green" with sessions on the use of biosolids for green fuels and innovations in anaerobic digestion.
